The best thing about this job – meeting the best people!
I always-always-always leave a photoshoot buzzing and feeling like I’ve just hung out with my childhood friends – my clients are amazing!
Last weekend I was photographing a sweet family of four in the Bridge of area of Aberdeen. Here is one of the beautiful faces gracing the back of my camera for the duration of my visit there.
Can we all do a loud cheer for the dad, who gave into persuasion and joined us on set! I always say, you may hate the camera pointing at you and me speaking rubbish as I click the shutter, but trust me, your kids will love these photos in the years to come. And MAYBE – just maybe – you will too.
Dad, I’ll keep you up to date with any address changes for you to send me a Thank You note and some Guylian chocolates for forcing convincing to get in the frame.
It was such a joy to see these guys again. I photographed Nicola and the little ones back in April, when Alfie was only 3 months old; fast-forward to him being nearly 7 months and what a difference! They really do grow so quick.
Emily is just the special little diva she was those few months ago – she has the shiniest of smiles and that unruly fiery hair – dream!
