My family mini sessions take place outdoors in the beautiful surroundings of Aberdeenshire.
Maybe, just like mine, your children are wild and unruly and love being silly and to have fun?
Well, an outdoor mini session is perfect to contain all that energy!
I will photograph you being yourselves, as a family (yes, you absolutely have to be in these photos!) and also your children individually and together.
I pride myself on creating family portraits that are full of joy and personality and even dads walk away saying it didn't hurt quite as bad as they expected!
Does posing for photos fill you with dread?
You'll be amazed with how much we can capture within 15 minutes. I have a vault of prompts and games we will play, so you'll never be left to pose yourself or feeling awkward
After your session, you will receive a gallery of images that will make your heart melt. You can pick your favorite 5, which are included in the session fee, or choose to take more (never any hard sell from me!). One of your chosen 5, will also be delivered as a beautiful print ready to be gifted or displayed in your home.

While I believe that YOU are the main attraction at your family photo session, I do not treat location-hunting lightly.
Chosen for their perfect ability to provide the ideal backdrop at the season we are shooting, my chosen location for the only family minis event in 2025 is a long-time favourite: the most beautiful golden forrest in Stonehaven, near Aberdeen!
This location has abundant and free parking and even something extra about it to make it perfect for a family day out after we create your beautiful family keepsakes (hint: more info will be on your prep guide!).

Hi, my name is Iana (starts with an 'i', rhymes with banana)
I have been photographing families from Aberdeen, the shire and even as far afield as Australia and the US of A for 7 years.
how can this be, given you're only 18? - I can almost hear you ask...
I pride myself on having even the most reluctant of models walk away from the shoot with a smile on their faces!
