The Best Client Images of 2018 - THANK YOU! | Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire Family Photographer

Updated: Jan 29, 2020

Now that Christmas 2018 is behind us, the end of the year is fast approaching and I would like to share my top images from this year.

Various social media outlets would encourage a share of 9, as that’s the perfect layout for that little familiar square.

I simply couldn’t pick just 9, nor could I let amount of ‘Likes’ to announce my ‘top’ 9, so I’ve selected my favorite images from each session I’ve done this year (except for the Burn House Christmas Specials - I’m still keeping those under wraps just in case... I’ll be blogging about those separately very soon!).

this selection includes newborn babies, professional portraits, Fresh 48, family and maternity portraits and locations just as varied - we visited St. Cyrus Nature Reserve near Montrose, the Balmedie Beach, Dunnottar Woods near Stonehaven, Denlethen Woods of Laurencekirk, we had indoor sessions in family homes and dodgy lights of hospital rooms - to name just a few...

I would like to take this opportunity to thank EACH AND EVERY single person, who has photographed with me this year - this includes reluctant toddlers and suspicious dads - you’ve all been magnificent, even if you were a bit unsure of the idea to start with.

I Thank You from the bottom of my heart for that!

So here are my favourite Client Images of 2018:

If you had a photo session with me in 2018, I'd love to hear, which image was your favourite?

Reflecting is so important in order to move forward. What I plan on doing at the very start of 2019 is write up a plan for the year ahead and shooting sessions alone (both - Client and personal) doesn't quite make me grow as much as I would like to.

So here's where education comes in - learning by attending workshops, spending time with peers and online is always an inexhaustible resource for education.

This is why I found the following post by Tanya so helpful to get me started on my quest in planning out the education for next year:

Check it out and see if you find inspiration there too!
