Meet one of this world’s latest, cutest additions: the perfect little Aila, born on the Second day of July 2018 – how lucky are her gorgeous family to welcome her into their clan! Congratulations Carla, Alex, big sister Alba and the rest of the family and WELL DONE, Carla!
I visited a Friend of mine, who co-created this perfect little human, in hospital yesterday and it gave me all the warmest, most sentimental feels – remembering being there a little over two years ago and the fact that I will be back there sometime in a couple of months.
Seeing all the smiling visitors tiptoe in and out of the rooms, where the new mommies recover from birthing these beautiful little creatures, reminded me of just how much love there is in the world – all unconditional too.
Seeing the new mommy cuddle and kiss her tiny new baby and the way she looked at her was heart-melting (I promise, it was nothing to do with the heatwave!).
Now, I am not making any excuses, but technically, the Gods of Photography were all against me yesterday – I had a wrong lens (no choice there, as my go-to for this set up refused to co-operate), hospital light is not exactly glowy and soft for photography and we had about 1m.sq. of an area to work with (and also 5 minutes max time-wise, as I was too busy chatting and cuddling) - (not complaining AT ALL, by the way – hospitals are not studio space, they do the job they are supposed to brilliantly) BUT – what a gorgeous model, right?
With all of the above, for me to get images as gorgeous as these, she must be something special!
