I am actually lost for words.

This family Photo Session in Dunnottar Woods, by Stonehaven of Aberdeen is simply stunning.

Of course I know that the beautiful faces and the genuine smiles of this lovely family make these photos what they are, we simply cannot ignore the majestic palette autumn brings to these images!

When I went to scout this location, I simply could not believe my luck - the low, Scottish November light was falling just right to illuminate the leaves giving them a golden glow.

We went for a walk along the path towards the Dunnottar Nurseries, coming across the small opening with fairy doors, enjoying the fresh air and making some beautiful memories along the way!

I am delighted to share this gallery and actually can’t wait for next fall already - hopeful for more golden days like this one.

And, of course, I have to say that each season has surprised me over the last 12 months!

Spring brought us the gorgeous Daffodils Photo Sessions on the Pay It Forward Day, summer was just full of beautiful sessions - on the St. Cyrus Nature Reserve beach and on a leafy green walk in Johnshaven... autumn - well, see above and even winter, which may have been expected to be a little bit boring and dull surpassed all expectations on my own Family Photo Session a couple of weeks ago!
