Today I bring you one of my most favorite types of a family session and also one of my favourites from this year so far!
Extended family sessions.
Ones, where grandparents cuddle the baby and uncles play with their nieces and brothers and sisters play the ‘look at your favorite’ game - not awkward at all! But it does get them laughing :)
Lisa was in touch with me at the end of last year, saying that she wanted to book a session, where her parents and brothers would be present along with her own young family.
This conversation literally was one of the strongest forces behind the family session of my own that I finally arranged back in January!
So, thank you for that, Lisa.
We met on the sunniest day since last summer - starting at these guys’ lovely house, because their dog had recently had an op and was therefore under a house arrest - recovering.
Having frolicked in a field nearby, we moved along to a tree-lined alley nearby, seeking some shade.

This family session was filled with laughter and joy, it really was a pleasure to witness the warm connections between the uncles and nieces, grandparents and grand-daughters, the siblings, the spouses...
So much love.
