Hi, My Name Is... | Aberdeen & Angus Family & Small Business Photographer

Hey friends,

Thanks for being here!

I am a family and small business photographer - if you follow me on social media or subscribe to my mailing list updates, you will know all that - along with having fair familiarity with my work.

But the way I run my business is very personal to me and so I thought it would be good fun to introduce myself in a little bit of a different way - with a list of random facts about myself!

📸I shoot with Nikon D800E

👁My favorite lens is 70-200 2.8

☕️I prefer Starbucks to Costa (Venti Caramel Macchiato with oat milk, blonde roast and peppermint syrup instead of vanilla)

🍫I’m not huge on chocolate, but if I had to choose, GuyLean pralines, Ferrero Rochers or Kinder chocs would get the pick

🍎I love apples and have been known to devour 6 in one go... MacIntosh Red and Braeburns are my favourites

❄️I lived in northern Russia until the age of 13. -30 C (and lower) is no stranger to me

🤪I am a Tom Cruise fan. He seems to have a bit of a bad rep, but I love his movies, think he’s a great actor and good looking fellow

✨I love sparkly knitwear

🌻I probably love dried flowers more than the fresh ones... ‘probably’ maybe

🌍I speak fluent Russian and English and can understand Ukrainian fairly well. I want to learn French

🏎I drive a car with reg plate that reads ‘SMILE’ - this was a complete accident and it just came like that (sign?)

💥Our babies were born 10lbs6oz and 10lbs14oz. Gas&Air rule!

📜I studied Legal Studies and Politics and International Relations in Uni

💝My mom is my style icon and my dad is my favorite family photographer

🇺🇸I used to have a very American accent when I first moved here - because I went to American School in Holland

🌎I’ve been to 31 countries and lived in 4

✌🏼I was ‘Baby Spice’ in my friends’ group of Spice Girls - we used to put on concerts and invite our poor classmates to come watch

⚔️I think the Game of Thrones ending was fine. Underwhelming, but I’m good with it.

I’d love to hear 3 fun facts about you - these are kind of hard to come up with at first, but once you get going, there’s no stopping 😂
